Belize Coast Guard rescue 2 persons in life raft

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Belize Coast Guard’s (BCG) search and rescue team rescued 2 persons in a life raft today.

The BCG says that the 2 persons had to abandon their tug boat after it sank during the storm last night. 

The captain was found swimming. 

“Seafaring is no easy profession. These men are alive because they were equipped, trained and prepared for emergency at sea,” the BCG noted.
