Belize Elementary School suffers “catastrophic damages” caused by Hurricane Lisa

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On Wednesday, Hurricane Lisa made landfall in Belize causing damage to homes and schools including the Belize Elementary School.

The school building lost its roof, suffered severe damage to its classroom buildings and the compound is covered with debris.

The school is asking for prayers as they assess the damages, clear the debris and reorganize.

“We will resume classes as soon as our compound is safe to do so,” the school said.
