By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies with cloudy spells today and cloudy skies at times tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will affect mainly central and northern areas today and coastal and southern areas tonight.
High temperatures today reach 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 90 degrees inland and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 77 degrees along the coast, 73 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly to southeasterly at 10 to 20 knots; seastate is choppy. A flood warning remains in effect for low-lying and flood-prone areas.
Tides will be low at 12:38 this afternoon and high at 6:51 this evening. Sunset is at 5:20 this evening and sunrise on Friday morning is at 5:52.
Friday sees a few showers and isolated thunderstorms at first, becoming isolated.
