By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Belize Tourism Board (BTB) issued a statement today saying that it joins in solidarity with the Government of Belize in extending thoughts and prayers for all those that have been affected by Hurricane Lisa.
“We hope that you, your families, staff and guests are all safe and sound,” the BTB said.
The Ministry of Tourism and Diaspora Relations and the Belize Tourism Board are now preparing to carry out a Damage Assessment to measure the impact of Hurricane Lisa.
The BTB says that a Damage Assessment Survey will be issued and teams will be conducting on-the-ground assessments in the most affected areas.
