The couple got married on October 28, 2022, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

In 2019, both beauty queens tried to enter the Miss Universe pageant and Mariana won her national title but Fabiola placed in the top 3 in Puerto Rico.

In 2020, they both participated in the Miss Grand International in Thailand where they both placed in the Top 10 and fell in love.

The Miss Universe organization has extended congratulations to the newlyweds.
