CARICOM Sec-Gen extends solidarity to Belize on the devastation caused by Hurricane Lisa

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Hurricane Lisa battered Belize on Wednesday causing localized flooding, damage to homes, damage to electricity poles, and displacing many.

CARICOM’s Secretary General, Dr. Carla Barnett has expressed solidarity with Belize on the devastation caused by Hurricane Lisa.

“I extend solidarity from myself and the Caribbean Community to the Government and people of Belize following the extensive devastation caused by the #HurricaneLisa this week. #CARICOM stands ready to assist as possible,” Dr. Barnett stated.
