Road Safety Project reminds motorists to exercise caution when traveling

Posted: Friday, November 4, 2022. 10:44 am CST.

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The second road safety project issued a travel reminder for all Belizeans.

“As the country recovers from the aftermath of Hurricane Lisa, the Second Road Safety Project, a unit of the Ministry of Economic Development, would like to share that we are grateful that no major road traffic incident or loss of life has been reported,” they noted.

Motorists are advised to be vigilant and exercise caution when traversing the roadways and streets, as there may still be debris and low-lying wires, which can be hazardous.

Let’s continue to be safe as we try to get back to normalcy.
