No Sunday Lottery Draw today thanks to Hurricane Lisa

By Aaron Humes: A Belizean tradition has been postponed for the last few days in the aftermath of Hurricane Lisa.

We refer to the nightly Boledo and weekly Sunday Lottery draws, the latter of which will not be held today for the first time in some time.

Boledo was expected to resume on Monday night, however, a statement from broadcaster Belize Broadcasting Network (BBN Belize, not to be confused with Breaking Belize News) says there remain ‘connectivity issues’ at the ‘Public Buildings’ where the draw is normally held.

Additionally, boledo and lottery sales have been interrupted due to the same connectivity issues, and an update as to when all Brads’ Gaming Company promotions – which also include Pick 3 and Fantasy 5 – will resume.
