Man robbed at gunpoint on Valley of Peace Road

By Benjamin Flowers: A man driving down the Valley of Peace Road on Saturday, wound up being a victim of an armed robbery.

Francisco Escobar told police that just after 2:00 p.m. he was driving along the road when two men jumped out of the bushes with guns and ordered him to stop.

He complied and they robbed him of cash and cell phones before fleeing the area on foot.

Police are investigating.
