Police are asking for your help in determining what happened to Celia Florian

By Benjamin Flowers: The Belize Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in the death investigation of 30-year-old Belmopan resident Celia Florian.

Officer Commanding Police Eastern Division, Sr. Superintendent Hilberto Romero, explained today that Florian’s decomposed body was found on a feeder road near Mile 40 on the Hummingbird Highway just after midday. She had been reported missing on Monday, October 31.

“A thorough investigation is being conducted into this find and we are following some leads at this time,” Romero said. “No obvious signs of injuries[were seen], a post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death.”
