Walk-a-thon to save energy to be held this weekend in San Ignacio

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: In commemoration of Belize energy month 2022, the Ministry of Public Utilities, Energy, Logistics, and E-governance with support from the European Union is hosting a Walk-a-thon this Sunday, November 13, 2022, in San Ignacio.

The Walk-a-thon is being held to raise awareness of the importance of energy efficiency and climate action.

This event is hosted by the Energy Unit of the Ministry and is supported by the European Union.

The Walk-a-thon commences at 7 am from the Victor Galvez Stadium in San Ignacio.

Route: Beginning at the Victor Galvez Stadium, down Buena Vista St., around Coronation Park, down Burns Ave, onto Savannah St, then onto Joseph Andrews Drive, then onto Benque Viejo Rd, then to Buena Vista and back to Victor Galvez Stadium
