Ministry of Infrastructure Development continues road works in Toledo

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) is continuing its road improvement works in Toledo.

“Even as some of our teams work in the Belize District to restore normalcy after Hurricane Lisa, our Southern warriors continue to tackle the towering job of upgrading roads in the Toledo District,” said the MIDH in a social media post.

“This is one crew on the San Benito Poite road in remote Toledo. This is a lot harder than it looks, and we’re grateful for the determination of our crew on the ground.”

The MIDH has been working in other rural areas of the Toledo District improving the conditions of the roads which have made certain areas difficult to access.
