By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The traditional Thomas Vincent Ramos Cycling Classic will be held on Sunday, November 13 in the Stann Creek District.
The cycling race, organized by the Dangriga Cycling Association in collaboration with the National Garifuna Council, starts at 10:00 at K’s Cool Spot in Dangriga, goes to Maya Center, to the Georgetown Junction, and back.
Over $5,000 in prizes are being offered for the Elite and Junior riders, plus Weekend Warriors, Gonz races’ cyclists, and riders from Dangriga and Corozal.
Richard Santiago won the last edition on November 17, 2019. That race went to the Placencia Junction and back to Dangriga. Erwin Middleton was second, followed by Ernest Bradley in third place and Brandon Cattouse in fourth.
