Woman in Belize City rushed to the KHMH after being shot

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A woman was shot in Belize City a short while ago.

The incident happened in the vicinity of West Collet Canal and Armadillo Street.

Reports suggest that someone was playing with a firearm that accidentally went off and hit the unidentified female.

The victim was rushed to the Karl Hesuner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) for treatment.

Police are investigating.
