By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Giovanni Choto, riding for M&M Engineering, won the traditional Thomas Vincent Ramos Cycling Classic held on Sunday, November 13 in the Stann Creek District.
Choto rode across the finish line a few yards ahead of Goran Gabourel to capture first place in the cycling race, organized by the Dangriga Cycling Association’s Moses ‘Mose’ Lopez in collaboration with the National Garifuna Council. The race started in front of K’s Cool Spot in Dangriga, went all the way to the Georgetown Junction and back to Dangriga.
Choto is the 2012 Holy Saturday Cross Country winner.
Richard Santiago won the last edition on November 17, 2019. That race went to the Placencia Junction and back.
