By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Two vintage World War II-era planes collided and crashed mid-air during an air show in Texas on Saturday, the BBC reports.
Video footage showed the aircrafts colliding at a low altitude, breaking one of them in half and they both came crashing down.
The planes were participating in a commemorative air show that was being held in honor of Veterans day near Dallas.
Dallas officials confirmed that 6 people died from the crash.
The Allied Pilots Association said that 2 of its former members died in the collision.
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration said that it will investigate the crash.
