Ana Lopez places 2nd in Playa del Carmen 5K race

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belizean Ana Lopez placed 2^nd in a 5-kilometre race in the 6^th Copa Revolución in Playa del Carmen, Campeche, México.

“Thanking the good Lord for this awesome experience I had today competing in the 5k at the 6ta Copa Revolución at Playa del Carmen and doing 2nd place,” Ana Lopez said in a social media post.

“Also big thanks to splash Dive Center Patricia Ramirez. Congrats to all the runners. Thanks for all those who encouraged me; who cheered along.”

Lopez competed in the Campeche race along with a Belize Team. The Belize Athletics Association said it is awaiting a full report from the team.
