Belize Weather: Fair weather prevailing to start the week

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts mostly fair weather today as relatively dry conditions set in.

Skies today will be sunny with a few cloudy spells. Showers will be isolated today and tonight except for a few more over the south under partly cloudy skies tonight.

High temperatures today reach 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 90 degrees inland and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 78 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to northeasterly at five to 15 knots with wave heights of one to three feet.

Tides will be low at 8:43 this morning and 7:12 this evening and high at 2:52 this afternoon. The sun sets at 5:16 this evening and rises at 5:57 Tuesday morning.

Skies will be partly cloudy on Tuesday with generally isolated showers before a few develop along the coast by nightfall.
