“Desmond Gordon fell out the back of a pickup truck,” Police say

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police say that 39-year-old Desmond Gordon, who was seriously injured in a traffic mishap last night, fell from the back of a pickup truck.

Initial investigations into the incident have revealed that Gordon was in the pan of the pickup traveling through Blackman Eddy Village shortly before 9:30 p.m. when he fell out the back and sustained several injuries.

Gordon was admitted to the Western Regional Hospital in critical condition with large open wounds to the forehead, top of the head, the side of the left eye, and large abrasions to both knees.

Police say that when they made checks, Gordon was breathing with the assistance of a ventilator.

Investigations into the matter are still ongoing.
