D’Feet Diabetes 5K Run/ Walk and 10K Race happening this Sunday in Belmopan

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Ministry of Health and Wellness is hosting a D’Feet diabetes 5Krun/walk and 10K race in Belmopan.

The race will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at 6:15 am at Mae Gordon Park in Belmopan.

The registration fee is $20.

Statistics from the Ministry of Health and Wellness show that at the end of 2021, a total of 834 persons were newly diagnosed with Diabetes in Belize.

There will be trophies for the top three men and women finishers for the 10k race.

All other finishers will receive a medal.

There will also be health education, as well as Blood Pressure and glucose check at Mae Gordon Park on Sunday.
