Crooked Tree man shot dead

By Aaron Humes: A resident of Crooked Tree, Belize District was shot dead late on Monday according to police.

One Reece Riverol, 30, according to initial investigation, came out of his house after nine Monday evening to investigate a noise resembling stones being thrown at his house at Mile 31, on the Philip Goldson Highway. He was then shot.

Riverol was later pronounced dead. Police have since detained four persons from the Crooked Tree area pending investigation.
