Belize Weather: Fair weather tempered by coastal showers

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies today with cloudy intervals and partly cloudy to cloudy skies tonight. Showers will fall along the coast in the daytime and there is a chance for more or isolated thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow as well as in the south.

High temperatures today reach 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 91 degrees inland and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 78 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland and 67 degrees in the hills.

Winds are from the northeast at five to 15 knots and sea state is light chop.

Tides will be low at 10:47 this morning and 10:07 tonight and high at 5:01 this evening. The sun sets at 5:16 this evening and rises at 5:58 Thursday morning.

Thursday sees cloudy intervals with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly over Southern and coastal areas.
