Educators from Special Education Unit develop individualized education plans for students at Stella Maris

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology says that the Special Education Unit of the Ministry alongside the teachers of Stella Maris School embarked on drafting Individualized Education Plans (IEPS) for students of their institution.

“This bold step forges an opportunity for teachers, parents, school administrators, related services personnel, and students to work together to improve educational results for children with disabilities,” the Ministry noted.

The Ministry says that it recognizes that an IEP is the cornerstone of quality education for each child with a disability.
