Triple murder reported at house in Sandhill

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating a triple homicide reported overnight in the village of Sandhill, Belize District.

Police visited Mile 19, Philip Goldson Highway, Sand Hill village, Belize District at a yellow wooden house elevated about three feet off the ground and saw the motionless bodies of three men inside with apparent gunshot wounds to the body.

According to initial investigations, at about 10:30 pm on Thursday shots were heard by a neighbor who called the police. The deceased were later identified by family members as Emerson Alexander Garcia, 43; Jareem Jammal Davis 20; and Charleston Jenkins, 19, all of the same Sandhill Village address. Police say they observed no signs of forced entry at the premises.

At this time the incident is under investigation.
