Belize Weather: Sunshine and showers mixed on Garifuna Settlement Day

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies with cloudy spells today and cloudy skies at times tonight. There will be showers, periods od rain and isolated thunderstorms countrywide.

High temperatures today reach 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 89 degrees inland and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 77 degrees along the coast, 71 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are northeasterly at five to ten knots. The sea will be choppy.

Tides will be low at 12:51 this afternoon then higg at 6:48 this evening. Sunset is at 5:16 this evening and sunrise on Sunday is at 5:59 in the morning.

Showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue to impact the country on Sunday.
