Belize Weather: Clouds and showers

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts cloudy skies with sunny breaks today and cloudy skies at times tonight. A few showers or isolated thunderstorms will affect mostly coastal and southern areas this morning and tonight and inland areas this afternoon.

High temperatures today reach 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 88 degrees in inland areas and 77 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 76 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are northerly to northwesterly at five to ten knots and sea state is light chop.

Tides will be high at 8:17 this morning and 7:49 this evening and low at 1:55 this afternoon. The sun sets at a quarter past five this evening and rises at 6:01 Tuesday morning.

Tuesday sees mainly fair weather with isolated showers and a chance of isolated afternoon thunderstorms.
