Opposition completes trip to U.S.

By Aaron Humes: The Leader of the Opposition Moses “Shyne” Barrow and United Democratic Party Chairman Senator Michael Peyerfitte concluded their U.S. visit with a breakfast meeting with the California Belizean Diaspora at the famous Little Belize restaurant in Inglewood, California.

The Opposition delegation was pleased to be hosted by the owners of Little Belize, joined by pageant director Opal Enriquez, former National Security CEO Felix Enriquez, Dr. Latrice Gardner Representative for Area 2, as well as Garifuna Artist Lil June, other creatives and members of the Belizean-American Community in California.

Barrow and Peyrefitte expressed their gratitude on behalf of the UDP Opposition for their hospitality as well as affirmed their commitment as the “Government in waiting” to implement policies that will stabilize and grow the economy, over haul the healthcare system, create greater access to education, expand our eroding middle class, contain our imploding crime crisis, create access to financing of affordable housing and create more employment if elected to Government.
