By Benjamin Flowers: It has been over three years since Toledo resident Jason Tzot, 17 years old at the time, was reported missing and his family is asking the Belize Police Department to help them find closure.

His brother Darwin Tzot contacted Breaking Belize News to say that there have been no updates to the missing person’s report filed on Sunday, May 19, 2019.

“It’s been really difficult for us, especially my mother,” Tzot said. “I went back to the police and tried to follow up with them and they were surprised that the case was still open, like they didn’t even know.”

Jason Tzot was last seen wearing long blue skinny jeans, a red sleeveless shirt, and red Jordan slippers.

He is described as standing about 5’3″ in height, with brown complexion and a tattoo with the words “ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME” on his chest.

Anyone with information regarding what may have happened to him is urged to report it by calling 911, 922 or the nearest police station.
