International Women’s Club of Belize donates $11,000 worth of housing supplies to assist residents affected by Hurricane Lisa

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On Monday, November 21, 2022, the International Women’s Club of Belize donated $11,000 worth of housing supplies.

The supplies will aid Belize City residents whose homes were damaged by Hurricane Lisa.

Founded in 1988, this non-profit organization strives to aid cancer centers, orphaned children, and scholarships for young women.

“On behalf of the Belize City Council, this donation is greatly appreciated and we encourage you all to continue executing meaningful work for the community,” the Belize City Council said.
