Police officers from across country sit written promotional exams

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams believes in advocating for police officers’ professional growth through the Belize Police Department’s Promotional Exam process.

Police officers from across the country and of police ranks of constables and corporals will sit written police promotional exams at different educational institutions today and tomorrow.

Today, about 520 police constables began the first part of 2 sections of the promotional exam, which can promote them from police constable to police corporal.

The police promotional exam is scheduled for 6 hours and will be almost the same structure for the police corporals who will sit their promotional exam tomorrow for the promotional rank of a police sergeant but their exam will be at the National Police Training Academy in Belmopan.
