Today’s big match in the 2022 FIFA World Cup features Germany against Spain in Group E at 1:00 pm at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor.

Germany was somewhat relieved when Costa Rica stunned Japan 1-0 earlier today because that gives them breathing space. Had Japan won, as was expected, they would have had to beat Spain today to remain alive, but as it stands a draw against Spain would still be good enough to keep their second-round aspirations alive.

The second game today is between Belgium and Morocco. That match started at 7:00 am at the Al Thumama Stadium in Doha.

The third match features Croatia against Canada in Group F at 10:00 am at the Khalifa International Stadium in Ar-Rayyan.
