By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service calls for sunny skies today with a few cloudy intervals and partly cloudy skies tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue to develop over the south this morning. Shower activity will be generally isolated for the rest of the day except for some inland afternoon isolated thunderstorms and in the south tonight where a few showers or isolated thunderstorms can be expected.
High temperatures reach 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 91 degrees over inland areas and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 72 degrees over inland areas and 66 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly to southeasterly at five to 15 knots. Seas will be choppy.
Tides will be low at 8:02 this morning and 6:58 this evening and high at 2:20 this afternoon. The sun sets at 5:16 this evening, rising at 6:05 Tuesday morning.
Tuesday sees mainly fair weather with isolated showers except in the north during the daytime.
