Verdes can’t shake off Altitude, draw 1-1 in 1st leg of Premier League of Belize Finals

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Verdes failed to take care of Altitude at the Norman Broaster Stadium in San Ignacio playing to a 1-1 draw in the first leg of the Premier League of Belize’s Opening Championship Finals on Sunday.

The championship will be decided at the the Michael Ashcroft Stadium in Independence on Saturday evening.

Paraguayan Luis Ibarra converted in the 71^st minute giving Verdes a 1-0 lead.

Rene Leslie stepped up for Altitude in the 78^th minute for the final 1-1 draw.

Now they go back to the drawing board to ensure a win in the final game.
