By Rubén Morales Iglesias: With France already qualified in Group D, the threee other countries (Denmark, Tunisia, and Australia) are looking for the remaining ticket today at 9:00 am.

If we go by points, Australia would have the edge because they have three points to Tunisia’s and Denmark’s one. But it all depends on how things turn out.

Australia are facing Denmark at the Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah while Tunisia are facing group leaders France at the Education City Stadium in Doha.

Already qualified after their initial two victories, the French will top the group unless they lose to Tunisia and Australia beat Denmark, as they would be tied at six points with Australia.

Australia qualify with a win. A draw could be enough unless Tunisia beat France. In this case, Tunisia go through on goal difference.

To qualify Denmark must beat Australia. If they do, they qualify unless Tunisia beat France. They would be tied in points and goal difference would determine who goes through.

A similar situation is true for Tunisia. They must defeat France and Denmark avoid defeat by Australia to be in contention to qualify.
