2022 FIFA World Cup: Portugal already qualified, other 3 Group H teams are in the hunt for remaining qualifying spot

Already qualified to the Round of 16, Portugal only need a draw today against South Korea to secure the top spot in Group H at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, but a win would be better. So far, no team has totalled nine points in the first round.

Ghana face Uruguay at the Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah while South Korea battle Portugal @ Education City Stadium in Doha. Both Group H games are scheduled for 9:00 am.

After Portugal, Ghana are the team with the best probabilities. They can advance with a win over Uruguay. A draw would be good enough if South Korea don’t win against Portugal. If they draw and South Korea win, goal difference will be the deciding factor between Ghana and South Korea.

For Uruguay and South Korea, they must win. A loss or draw puts them out. Uruguay can still qualify if they beat Ghana and South Korea don’t win over Portugal. If both win, goal difference will decide which of the two qualify.
