By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies today with cloudy intervals and partly cloudy to cloudy skies tonight. Showers and isolated thunderstorms develop mainly along the coast this morning, scattering to inland areas this afternoon, then redeveloping in the south and along the coast tonight into Saturday morning.
High temperatures peak at 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 90 degrees over inland areas and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 77 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees over inland areas and 66 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly to northeasterly at 10 to 15 knots and the sea state is choppy.
Tides will be low at 11:50 this morning and high at 6:05 this evening. The sun sets at 5:16 this evening, rising at 6:07 Saturday morning.
Skies will be cloudy in spells on Saturday with showers and isolated thunderstorms in the south and some coastal areas.
