Police find a gun and drugs on the Bullet Tree Road

By Benjamin Flowers: Police found a firearm and drugs during searches on the Bullet Tree Road this week.

Officers conducting searches at an empty lot on an unnamed street in the area between 5:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Thursday found a .38 revolver with two live .38 rounds.

The officers also found a white plastic bag with 10 foil packets inside containing a total of 0.8 grams of cocaine and a sack containing 438.8 grams of marijuana.

No one was in the area at the time so the items were sealed, labeled, and deposited as found property.
