By Aaron Humes: On Friday, December 2, 2022, at about 2:10 p.m., Police responded to a report of a fire at St Joseph Street, Belize City. Upon arrival, they observed a small wooded house engulfed in flame.
The owner of the house, Brentford Flowers, a 55-year-old Belizean labourer of St. Joseph Street, reported that whilst conducting business, he was informed that his house was on fire.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined. The house nor its contents were insured. The house and its contents were destroyed by the fire. No one was injured, and the value of the house is unknown. Police investigation continues.
