By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies with cloudy spells today and cloudy skies at times tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop countrywide and particularly in the south this morning, northern and Central areas this afternoon and again over the south tonight.
High temperatures are 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 88 degrees inland and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 77 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly to northeasterly at 10 to 20 knots. Sea conditions will be choppy to rough; a small craft caution is in effect for gusty winds and rough seas near showers and thunderstorms.
Tides will be low at 12:33 this afternoon then high at 6:46 this evening. The sun will set at 5:16 this evening, rising at 6:08 Sunday morning.
Skies will be cloudy in intervals on Sunday with showers and isolated thunderstorms, especially in Central Belize, decreasing to isolated activity, particularly over the south.
