Fire guts house that was scene of triple murder in Sandhill

By Aaron Humes: Reports to Breaking Belize News are that a fire reported Friday evening in Sandhill village, Belize District, was at the site of a triple murder reported a few days ago.

Around 7:06 p.m., Police responded to a report of a fire at mile 19 on the Phillip Goldson Highway, New Site area, Sandhill Village, Belize District. Upon arrival, they observe the burnt remains of an elevated wooden house already destroyed by the fire.

No one was reported injured, and the value of the house is unknown. Attempts were made to communicate with the owner but were fruitless. Police are investigating.
