Belize Weather: More showery weather predicted

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts partly cloudy to cloudy skies today and cloudy skies at times tonight, with some showers over most areas and isolated thunderstorms, and showers over the south tonight.

High temperatures peak at 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 89 degrees over inland areas and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 77 degrees along the coast; 72 degrees inland; and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are northeasterly at 10 to 20 knots and gusty. Sea conditions will be moderate to rough; a small craft caution is in effect for gusty winds and rough seas near showers and thunderstorms.

Tides will be high at 7:49 this morning and 7:23 this evening and low at 1:13 this afternoon. The sun sets at 5:17 this evening, rising at 6:08 Monday morning.

Monday sees sunny to partly cloudy skies with only isolated showers; after night fall, isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms will pop up along the coast.
