Prime Minister departs for CARICOM Summit and SICA Meeting

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, Prime Minister John Briceño departed the country to attend the 8th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the Republic of Cuba.

The summit is scheduled to take place in Bridgetown, Barbados, on December 6, 2022.

Subsequently, the Prime Minister will attend the LVI Ordinary Meeting of Heads of State and Government of the Central American Integration System (SICA) in Santiago de Los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, on December 8 and 9th 2022.

The Prime Minister returns to Belize on December 10, 2022.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources, Petroleum, and Mining, Cordel Hyde will act as Prime Minister.
