2022 FIFA World Cup: Portugal, Switzerland play the final Round of 16 match on Tuesday afternoon

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Portugal vs Switzerland, the final in the Round of 16 at the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup will be played today at 1:00 pm.

The match will play at the Lusail Stadium in Al Daayen. That’s the biggest stadium at the World Cup with a capacity of 88,966. The Lusail was filled to capacity for the Argentina-Mexico game in the group stage.

Unless Portugal qualify to the Quarterfinals, this will more than likely be Cristiano Ronaldo’s last game for Portugal. Cristiano is playing in his fifth world Cup along with the likes of Argentina’s Messi and Mexico’s Andrés Guardado and Guillermo ‘Memo’ Ochoa.

Though Portugal go in as favourites, this is considered the most level Round of 16 match.

The winners will play the winners of the Spain-Morocco match in the Quarterfinals.
