2022 FIFA World Cup: Qatar 2022 is winding down; only 10 games are left, including today’s two matches

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: If you are a fanatic of football, you will be sad to know that only ten games are left, but then again, if you’re a fanatic you already know that. On the other hand, if you don’t care much about football or simply don’t like the sport and you’re tired of the World Cup, you will be happy to know that.

Two matches are left in the Round of 16. Those are being played today featuring Spain and Morocco at 9:00 am and Portugal and Switzerland at 1:00 pm.

Then there is a two-day break. No football games on Wednesday or Thursday.

But the jogo bonito, as Brazilians call it, returns for two days on Friday and Saturday, December 9 and 10.

The Netherlands play Argentina and Croatia match up against Brazil on Friday, while Saturday will feature England against France and the two winners of today’s games going up against each other.

After that we’ll have another two-day break on Sunday and Monday, December 11 and 12.

The semifinals will be played on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 13 and 14.

Another two-day break will follow on Thursday and Friday, December 15 and 16.

The third-place match is set for Saturday, December 17.

And then the Final closes off the World Cup on Sunday, December 18.
