Beltraide and Taiwan Embassy recognize Belizean companies featured in Taiwan Expo

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Beltraide, with support from the Central America Trade Office (CATO) and the Embassy of Belize in Taiwan and the Taiwan Embassy in Belize, participated in the 2022 Taiwan Coffee Tea and Wine Expo.

The international Tea, Coffee, Wine, and Food Industry Show was held in Taipei, Taiwan from November 18 to 21, 2022.

Featured Belizean products included gallon jug coffee, Oxmul coffee, cacao teas, and other cacao products from Cheil Mayan chocolate (Che’il Mayan Products), Belize Chocolate Company (Belize Chocolate) and Mahogany Chocolate, and Blackberry and Cashew wines from Travellers Liquors (Travellers Liquors).

Ambassador Dr. Candice Pitts visited the Belize booth and joined the effort to promote Belize and our goods and service as a destination that offers a unique experience.

Beltraide and the Embassy of Belize in Taiwan along with CATO hosted a brief ceremony to feature all the companies whose products were featured at the booth and to also issue award certificates to certain products in the coffee, tea, and wine categories based on feedback from visitors to the booth.
