By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Resilient Rural Belize (RRB) Program will be signing three matching grant fund agreements next week Tuesday, December 13.
The agreements will be signed with three cooperatives, namely the Concepcion Vegetable Farmers’ Cooperatives Society Limited, Seven Miles Farmers’ Association, and the Northern Sustainable Agro-Producers Cooperative Society Limited.
The matching grant fund agreements will be signed at the National Agriculture and Trade Show Grounds in Belmopan
Dr. Osmond Martinez, Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Finance, Economic Development, and Investment will deliver the main address.
The agreements will be signed on behalf of the cooperatives by their chairperson: Orlando Ek of the Concepcion Vegetable Farmers’ Cooperative Society Limited, Juan Lara of the Seven Miles Farmers’ Association and Maria Yam of the Northern Sustainable Agro-Producers Cooperative Society Limited.
