Cayo North’s Magical Christmas commences with a BANG!

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: It’s a holly, jolly Christmas in Cayo with fireworks, food, music and good time.

Tonight, Cayo North Area Representative, Michel Chebat officially opened the Cayo North Magical Christmas market at the Victor Galvez Stadium in San Ignacio.

Invited guests included Special Envoy for the Development of Families and Children, Rossana Briceno, Ambassador of Taiwan to Belize, David Kuan-Chou Chien and Mexico’s Ambassador to Belize, Martha Zamarripa.

During his remarks, Chebat thanked the Special Envoy for her support and encouraged all Belizeans to share the love and joy this Christmas. 

Chebat also thanked Ambassador Chien, the Taiwan Embassy in Belize, ICDF and the people and Government of Taiwan for their continued support and collaboration.

The Cayo North Christmas market features numerous entrepreneurs from the Cayo District including Rossy’s Shoes, Elio G’s Peppers, Jairo’s Pizza among many others.

The 2-week event also features amusement rides and a Santa Claus house.

The event will be held daily until December 23, 2022.
