Orange Walk man viciously shot to death on Saturday night

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating the murder of 27-year-old Byron Herrera of San Francisco Street, Orange Walk Town on Saturday night.

According to police, Herrera’s body was found on San Francisco Street just before 11 p.m. Saturday with multiple gunshot wounds, lying next to a black and red scooter.

Police were responding to a ‘shots fired’ report in the area and discovered Herrera under an elevated wooden house. He had been dispatched viciously with injuries from head to toe.

Police investigations continue.
