Belize Weather: Mix of sunshine and showers to start the week

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies with cloudy spells today and cloudy skies at times tonight. Except for parts of the coast this morning and tonight and inland and northern areas this afternoon, showers will be isolated.

High temperatures peak at 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 89 degrees over inland areas and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 77 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at five to ten knots; sea state is slight.

Tides will be low at 7:18 this morning and 6:08 this evening and high at 1:19 this afternoon. The sun sets at 5:19 this evening and rises at 6:13 Tuesday morning.

Expect mainly fair weather with isolated showers, mostly over the north, on Tuesday.
