U.S. Ambassador to Belize congratulate Belize on negotiation of Blue Bond 

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On Tuesday, December 13, 2022, U.S. Ambassador to Belize, Michelle Kwan met Prime Minister John Briceno and  Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance, Economic Development, and Investment Christopher Coye.

Ambassador Kwan congratulated Belize and Minister Coye on Belize’s impressive economic rebound and the successful negotiation of the Blue Bond.

Ambassador Kwan assured Minister Coye of strong U.S. support for Belize’s efforts to grow the nation’s economy including promoting U.S. investments to benefit every sector of Belizean society.

Ambassador Kwan has also met with Deputy Prime Minister, Cordel Hyde and Minister of Defence and Border Security, Florencio Marin Jr.
